My office may bill your insurance company as a courtesy however, we are unable to negotiate disputed claims. Certain services performed in this office may not be covered by your insurance company. It is the patient’s responsibility to resolve lack of payment issues in a timely manner.

Prior to your first visit please contact your insurance carrier to confirm acupuncture coverage with Kathryn Durand. Please be aware of your specific acupuncture benefits and limitations; copays & deductibles you may be responsible for and all restrictions that may apply under the terms of your policy, such as acupuncture coverage limited for only specific conditions &/or the number of allowed visits per year. Insurance companies will not guarantee payment until after the claim is processed. Fees not paid for by your insurance company are your responsibility and will be due upon receipt of the Explanation of Benefits statement from your insurance company.
